Terms of Service
Last updated October 5, 2026
By playing Crownforge ("the Game", operated by Crownforge Games) you agree to these terms.
Accounts
You may play as a guest or secure an account with an email and password. Guest accounts are not protected: they exist only in your browser session, have limited features (for example, the store, gems, the Shard Shop, trading and the Auction House need an account), and are deleted after 30 days without play. Cards pulled as a guest have no serial number until you secure the account, at which point they are numbered at that time. We can't recover a lost or expired guest account. You are responsible for keeping your login safe. Using bots, exploits or automation to gain an advantage is not allowed and may lead to account suspension.
Virtual items
Gems, gold, packs, cards, Crown Shards and other in-game items are a limited, non-transferable licence to use virtual content inside the Game. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for real money, and cannot be traded or sold outside the Game. Pack contents are random; the drop rates for every pack are shown in the Game before you buy.
Gameplay
Arena matches and Rift results depend on player skill, deck choices and the luck of the draw. We don't guarantee any win, rank or outcome, and purchases don't guarantee results.
Auction House
Players can trade cards with each other for in-game gold only. Selling or buying cards, gems or accounts for real money outside the Game isn't allowed. Listings are either a fixed price or an auction. In an auction, bids are binding: your bid gold is held while you're the highest bidder and returned if you're outbid, the highest bid when time runs out wins, and an auction with bids can't be cancelled. A bid in an auction's final 30 seconds extends it by 60 seconds, and we may email the player it outbid (you can turn these emails off in Account settings). Trades are final once a listing is bought or an auction ends; we don't reverse player trades except to fix a bug or stop fraud. A 5% gold fee applies to each sale. Your display name is shown on your listings and bids.
Suggestions and art
Suggestions you send are voluntary; we may use, change or build on any idea freely, without payment or credit, and we don't have to reply. Art submitted through the "Submit art" page is covered by the Art Submission Agreement, which you sign when you submit.
Chat, messages and trades
Global chat, direct messages, friends and direct trades are available to secured accounts. Be respectful: no harassment, hate, spam, scams, impersonation or sharing personal information. Don't arrange trades for real money or anything outside the game; Crownforge Credits are the only store currency that can be traded (see below). You can block any player, and report a message or player with the ⚑ button (in chat, in a conversation, or from a player's menu). We review reports and may remove messages, mute, or restrict or suspend accounts that break these rules. A chat message reported by several players may be hidden until we review it. Reports are confidential: we don't tell the reported player who reported them. Don't file false or abusive reports. Direct trades happen only when both players accept the final offers; completed trades are final, and we don't reverse them except to fix a bug or stop fraud. Always check exactly what you're receiving (serial number, edition and foil) before accepting.
Selling cards to the Game
You can sell any card copy you own to the Game for in-game gold at the market value shown. Market values are set by us, follow your in-game income, and may change. Sold copies are permanently destroyed, including their serial numbers and any limited-edition status, and can't be bought back.
Crownforge Credits
Crownforge Credits are a store balance: 1 Credit = US$0.01 (100 Credits = US$1.00). You can use them to pay for items in the Crownforge store, in full or in part (the rest is charged to your card). Credits have no cash value and can't be withdrawn or exchanged for cash. You may offer Credits in a direct trade with another registered player (for cards or gold); Credits bought with a card can be traded only 7 days after purchase, though you can spend them in the store right away. A trade involving Credits is final like any other trade and never creates a right to a refund or cash payment. Credits don't expire while your account exists. Realm Boosts bought in the store apply to every registered player for a limited time, not only to the buyer; each purchase adds one hour to that boost's timer. A Time Warp Reset can be used up to twice a day. Credits are non-refundable, whether you bought them or we gave them to you (for example, for accepted art); see our Refund Policy.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars. Items are delivered to the account you are signed in to at checkout, immediately. All purchases are final and non-refundable; see our Refund Policy.
Changes
We may rebalance, add or remove game content, and may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the Game. If we shut the Game down we will give at least 30 days' notice in the Game.
No warranty
The Game is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.
